COVID-19 Booster and Testing Information

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, particularly in light of the Omicron variant, we encourage members to get tested regularly and to receive your full vaccination, including your booster shot. Below is some relevant information and resources around vaccination boosters and testing.

Booster Shots
The FDA has now authorized COVID-19 booster shots for vaccinated individuals ages 12 and older. If you received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, you are eligible for a booster shot five months after your second vaccination date. If you received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you are eligible for a booster shot two months after your vaccination date.

According to the CDC, the brand of the booster does not need to match the brand of the original COVID-19 vaccine. However, teens between the ages of 12 and 17 may only receive the Pfizer vaccine booster.
